If you are a young performer aged 13-19 we are incredibly excited to be bringing you the opportunity to be part of FAME Jr. this Summer!
AUDITIONS
Sunday 23RD June, 2-5pm – Uppingham Community College*
Saturday 6th July, 11-1pm – Studio E (Princess Ave. Oakham)*
Sunday 14th July, 11-1pm – Uppingham Community College*
To join the cast of our production, you will need to attend an audition on one of the dates above.
Audition Requirements:-
At the audition you will be required to take part in a dance workshop and a drama workshop. Those of you that would like to take on a singing role should also prepare up to one minute of unaccompanied singing. This doesn’t have to be a song from Fame, just one that you enjoy and you feel showcases your voice.
We understand that some people may have strengths in different areas and there are roles in the show that require different skills.

Following the auditions you will be notified if you are successful and will then be part of our production company with rehearsals and performance as follows…
PRODUCTION WEEK – Monday 19th to Friday 23rd August 2019
REHEARSALS – Uppingham Community College
DRESS REHEARSAL – Saturday 24th August, 1-5pm Uppingham Theatre
PERFORMANCE – Saturday 24th August, 7pm Uppingham Theatre
SHOW FEE – £60
*Please note – it is free to audition. If you are successful, the show fee is payable to secure your place. Grants applications to cover the cost of fees can be made to Arts 4 Rutland if required (Please inquire for more information)
Tickets for the production will go on sale following our final audition. This performance will be open to general public and tickets sold online. We hope as many people as possible come along to support our talented young performers.
